Just finished another nice session at the tables. Up 2 buy-ins, with a 66bb/100 winrate. Made a pretty sweet move when the aggressor was betting hard (29vpip/21pfr/2.9aggr.fac. with a small blind 3-bet of 25% and a high flop and turn aggression 45 & 56%), and on the turn he made it $20 into $26.50 on 8c8d5d5c. I was fairly sure he was bluffing so I shove my pocket 10′s. He called with AsQh, and he missed the river! $122.62 over to me.

I think this one is my favourite from the session though. I was on the button with pocket 10′s. Its folded around to me, and I make it $1.50, and the big blind calls. He was a short stacker, with $22.59, and his stats were running 68vpip/5pfr/0.5aggr.fac. (FISH TARGET!!!). The flop was 6d5h9c, and although this could have hit him (well, any flop could hit a guy like this LOL) I felt quite confident that my 10′s were still in front. So, he checks, and I lead for $2.50 into $3.25, and he calls. The turn was the 10h. Nice, but potentially helps him. I bet $6 into $8.25 setting it up for a river bet that puts him all-in.

Fingers crossed the board pairs on the river for me to get his stack. Unfortunately, it didn’t, it brought a Js. Not great, but I also know he could call down with ace high, or better still a 9. I know it’s thin but I bet $12 into $20.25 (he only had $12.59!!!) to get the rest of his stack. I had a strong feeling that my set was best. Now, the best bit is that he shoves all-in for the extra 59c with AdQc!!! WTF – he must have either not been wearing his glasses and thought he had the straight, or he’s demented and thought he was making an amazing hero call! It was a warmly received donation to the Running Like God bankroll fund.

A nice session for pocket 10′s!
